2007 Flemington Rotary Scholarships

On May 17, 2007, at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Rotarian Drs. Ted Weinstein and Martin Stess presented five (5) outstanding seniors $1500 Flemington Rotary Scholarships based on academic achievement, need, service to the community and an essay on the meaning of that service.

The recipients and colleges they will be attending are:

Brandon Andreola* - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Vanessa Biradi - Rutgers.
Melanie Ezra - Rutgers.
Patricia Krug - The College of NJ.
Jennifer Randolph - The College of NJ.

*Mr. Andreola received the Michael Poule Memorial Scholarship which was presented by Michael’s parents. In addition, Rotarian Herb Bohler took group photos at the May 23 Flemington Rotary meeting.

Also on May 17, 2007, in the Little Theater on the Hunterdon Central Campus, Rotary President Bob Chittenden presented Mr. Larry Giuffra with the $500 Flemington Rotary Ride For Rotary T-Shirt Artwork scholarship.  Mr. Giuffra is one of many Hunterdon County Polytech students that competed to have their artwork displayed on the 2007 Ride For Rotary T-Shirts.  The Ride For Rotary T-Shirts will be available for purchase at the event on Saturday, September 15 at the Clinton Elks Lodge.
