| 7th Annual RIDE FOR ROTARY Date: 9/18/2010, Sun Time: 9am to 3pm The Flemington Rotary Club will be hosting their 7th Annual Ride for Rotary – Motorcycle Poker Run, Picnic & Clam Bake on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010. This event is a family-oriented motorcycle "Poker Run" followed by a community picnic and clam bake fundraiser! The start and end location will be the Clinton Elks Lodge, Sidney Road (County Route 617), Pittstown, NJ. Riders check in at the Clinton Elks Lodge between 9 and 11am before leaving on the motorcycle poker run through approximately 65 miles of scenic Hunterdon County and surrounding areas. The ride will end with the picnic and clam bake at the Clinton Elks Lodge. Everyone -- non-riders, families, friends, kids, adults -- is invited to the picnic and clam bake which runs from noon to 3pm. Food, beverages, prizes, 50/50 cash raffle, face painting for kids, vendors and music by Krazy Kat himself! All monies raised help support college scholarships for Hunterdon
Central Regional High School students! Each year we award 4 or 5 $1500.00 scholarships to local high school students to use for higher education. We have given over $85,000 in scholarships over the last 15 years.
